A Surfwear Brand Born from Change

Ninefoot Studio is a women’s surfwear and swimwear brand based in Bali, created to design high-performance bikinis and surf swimwear for women who live in the ocean. Designed by surfers, for surfers, Ninefoot focuses on creating functional, secure, and sustainable swimwear that stays in place in every wave.

Where It All Started 🌱

Ninefoot was created at a moment in my life when I really needed a change.

I had been working for over 10 years as a designer, collaborating with corporates, celebrities, and luxury brands. From the outside, everything looked successful — but internally, I felt stuck repeating the same work, the same trends, the same cycles.

I had already experienced burnout more than once.
And I knew something had to shift.

Surfing Changed Everything 🏄

At that time, I was already living in Bali.

Surfing was part of my daily life. It was the one thing that helped me disconnect, move my body, and feel balanced again. Being in the water every day changed the way I approached everything — my energy, my routine, and the way I understood what “feeling good” actually meant.

And at some point, I asked myself:

Combining What I Knew with What I Loved 💘

Design was my main skill. Creating products came naturally to me.

Most bikinis I saw weren’t built for surfing. They lacked support, durability, and real functionality in the water.

So I decided to create something different.

I combined what I knew — design — with what I loved — surfing — and started building bikinis and surfwear designed to stay in place, support movement, and last over time.

No Investors, No Plan — Just Starting 💫

There was no business plan.
No investors.
No external funding.

I started Ninefoot from my room in Bali, using my own savings. I worked on prototypes, tested pieces in the ocean, used friends as models, and built everything step by step.

It was never about ego or building a brand for visibility.
It was about creating something real.

Today, Ninefoot is still designed and produced in Bali, staying close to every part of the process.

We create women’s surf bikinis, one pieces, and surfwear using high-quality Italian recycled fabrics, focusing on performance, durability, and comfort.

Every piece is:

• Tested in real surf conditions

• Designed to stay secure in every wave

• Built for movement and long sessions in the water
