NineFoot Studio is a women's sustainable surfing active wear company that produces surf athleticism in range and style in one.

Our brand moves forward the intention of balancing quality active wear and delivering recycled and eco-friendly garments in helping our environment in every aspect.

We believe that the right active wear will help empower women to feel, think, and move confidently. Our minimalistic but premium designs were tediously crafted to support women with style and comfort.

Intentionally designed and handcrafted in Indonesia.

When we came up with the idea of creating and launching a sustainable lifestyle company we wanted something vital and ethical in production this was a big decision that we made when we just start.

The design process is all done from scratch from the small studio and manufactured in small factories run by local families.

Each unique piece you see has been created with a clear thought process in mind, making it comfortable. We don't design just for the aesthetics, it goes beyond that. Some samples never come to life.  Its hard and long process that requires a lot of time but it's the part of creating. Actually, that’s what makes each of our pieces unique. And seeing it all come to life is worth it.

We use high quality Italian recycled lycra, the same lycra is used in luxury brands, so we can proudly say that you are buying the material from the future. Is made from pre-post consumer waste from landfills and ocean nets from around the world and transformed into an ECONYL yarn. We use it as one of our main material in producing surfing active wear.

Tested in real-life conditions and proven to be four times more resistant to chlorine, suntan creams, and other sunblock oils, also have a UV 50+ sun protection, with shape retention, and a premium texture and feel.

Not only you are buying an excellent quality well designs pieces, for each piece you are helping to stop the harmful effects of fishing nets in the marine ecosystem, and supporting the slow fashion movement.

How much do you think the average person generates on packaging trash daily? Maybe 40% of plastic produced is packaging used just once and then discarded and greatly creates waste and damage to the ecosystem.

In the shipping process for overseas for our surf swimsuits, we use the bag for the packaging and it is also reusable the Cassava biodegradable bags are made from cassava vegetable roots material and it is compostable easily dissolve in direct sunlight and with water. (Please be aware and don’t put your wet surf gear inside.)

For the folders and the new stickers, we use cardboard papers. Even that any system is totally perfect, we twist and work all the way around it.

Our headquarter design studio is in Bali. We source local seamstress four years ago that could help us produce great premium quality surf swimwear.

At first it was never easy, took us more than two years manage and meet the good ones, but eventually, we found a great local place and they were helping us in producing sustainable goods with them since we develop our first collection.

We wanted also to support small communities in this country that needed support.  Quality control of the outcome is really important, the carbon footprint is reduced if it is made locally.

We are proudly dedicated ourselves to create sustainable and wearable products that wherever new adventures, we still make a positive impact on local communities where we live in.
